  • Monomer structure/reactivity relationships
  • pi-Conjugated polymers and conjugated polyelectrolytes
  • Electronic, electrochemical, and electrochromic properties of polymers
  • Chalcogen-rich multi-metallic complexes
  • Polymer solar cells and light emitting diodes
  • Monolayers and Langmuir-Blodgett-Kuhn films
  • Scanning Probe Microscopy, X-Ray diffractometry and reflectometry
  • Polymer and liquid crystal thin films
  • Polymer thin films — fabrication, characterization and applications
  • Ion channel membranes
  • Non-linear optics
  • Optical properties of conjugated polymers
  • Supramolecular assemblies and polymers
