Cover of Green Chemistry Highlights Polymer Publication

“A publication about PET mimics by Professor Stephen A. Miller has been published in the journal Green Chemistry. The thermal properties (glass transition temperature, melting temperature, and degradation temperature) of the common thermoplastic polyethylene terephthalate (PET, found in water bottles) have been matched with a polymer that can derive from biorenewable materials lignin and acetic acid. The paper has also been noted in Highlights in Chemical Science (Wood mimics packaging polymer).”
