Professor Rebecca Butcher receives the Sigma Xi Junior Faculty Research Award

Professor Rebecca A. Butcher has been awarded the 2016 Sigma Xi Junior Faculty Research Award. The UF Chapter of Sigma Xi awards the Faculty Research Award to a faculty member to recognize his or her outstanding contribution to the support of undergraduate student research. Prof. Butcher was recognized at the annual Sigma Xi banquet.

2016 Winefordner Recipients Announced

“The Department of Chemistry is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 James and Laura Winefordner Summer Research Fellowship. This award, for graduate students in the analytical chemistry division, recognizes overall excellence in research, scholarship, teaching and departmental service. This year, are presenting two awards. The recipients are Candice Ulmer and Tianyuan Xiao.”

Professor Adrian Roitberg awarded a UFRF Professorship

Professor Adrian Roitberg has been named a University of Florida Research Foundation (UFRF) Professor for 2016-2019 by the University of Florida Research Foundation. This honor recognizes faculty who have a distinguished current record of research and a strong research agenda that is likely to lead to continuing distinction in their fields.
