About Me:
Graduated from UF with a B.S. in Chemistry May 2005
Worked for the UF Racing Laboratory from 2005-2006
Joined the Yost Group in 2006
Interests:
Currently I am interested in imaging mass spec and am trying to figure out how to spend the next 4 years of graduate school learning about it.
In the past I have spent a year doing organic synthesis research as an undergrad and an analytical chemist at the Racing Lab. At the Racing Lab I spent a year working on method development for LC/MS/MS of commonly abused drugs in the horse racing industry. Also, I worked on developing methods for the simultaneous detection of up to 50 different drugs using LC/MS/MS.
My interests outside of chemistry include participating in many sports, volunteering, cooking, eating, and traveling.
