About Me:

After graduated from Central Police University, I worked for the Forensic Science Center of Criminal Investigation Bureau in Taiwan, which is responsible for the nationwide major crime investigation. My major job was crime scene investigation and forensic evidence analysis, including controlled and chemical substances analysis, toxicological evidence analysis, fire and explosive debris analysis, image process and traces evidence such as fibers, paints and glasses analysis. In addition to the laboratory experience, I also spent couple of years working for practical crime case investigation. My interests outside of research involves sports (basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, judo, jog…), movies, travel, performing and art appreciation.

Research Interests:

My Ph.D. research is focused on development of a portable instrument for improvised explosives device detection using high field asymmetric waveform ion mobility spectrometry (FAIMS) coupled with mass spectrometry for forensic applications.
