Gilda Loew was a pioneer in applying sophisticated computational methods to problems in molecular pharmacology, drug discovery and drug metabolism. In addition to her scientific activities, Dr. Loew was a President of the International Society of Quantum Biology & Pharmacology (1991-1992) and retained a deep interest in the Society for many years prior to her untimely death.
This meeting, organized by, and featuring, many of her friends, will honor the memory and scientific accomplishments of Dr. Loew by discussing recent exciting developments in areas in which she was interested and to which she made significant contributions.
The meeting will be held at the City University of New York’s College of Staten Island, which is located only a short trip away from Manhattan Island and the heart of New York City. There are a variety of reasonably priced hotels and hostels in the area for the use of meeting participants. Directions for making housing reservations for the meeting will be provided after receipt of your registration form.
