Thomas Joncheray was born in Angers, France, 24 years ago. Before joining the Duran group in August 2002 he obtained his engineer's diploma from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie et de Physique de Bordeaux (ENSCPB) in France. He is currently working on the "Nanocapsules for Drug Detoxification" project and also on the synthesis and characterization of several Dendrimer-like Block Copolymers in solution and at the air/water interface (PS-PtBA, PS-PAA, PB-PEO, PEO-PCL).

During his free time Thomas enjoys playing tennis, soccer, basketball and now racquet ball (it looks like Squash to him...) and he is also a pretty big soccer fan (ALLEZ FC Nantes Atlantique!!!).
