    The Duran Research Group is part of the George and Josephine Butler Polymer Research Laboratory at the University of Florida's Department of Chemistry. The research group is being directed by Assoc. Prof. Randy S. Duran.

    We are a dynamic research group with investigations involving conducting polymers, polymer and liquid crystal thin films, non-linear optics, scanning probe microscopy, Langmuir-Blodgett-Kuhn films, polymer glasses, x-ray diffractometry and reflectometry, and the physical, analytical, and organic studies of polymers in general.
