Post-Doctoral Fellowships

Dr. Constantina Papatriantafyllopoulou: cpapat@chem.ufl.edu

Dr. Constantina Papatriantafyllopoulou was born in Athens, Greece. She completed her B.Sc. (2000) degree at the University of Ioannina (Greece). She moved to the Chemistry Department of the University of Patras in 2003 and joined the research group of Prof. Spyros P. Perlepes. During her Ph.D. she was involved in the use of the sulfate ligand for the synthesis of polynuclear and polymeric 3d-metal complexes, with emphasis on their magnetic properties. She joined Professor George Christou's group on December 2008 where she works as a postdoctoral researcher. She is co-author of more than 20 scientific papers in peer-review journals. Her research interests are focused on the synthesis and magnetochemical characterization of oligo- and polynuclear 3d and 3d/4f metal complexes.
