the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research honors Dr. Ken Wagener

Butler Professor of Polymer Chemistry, Dr. Ken Wagener, will be honored with the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research Award on June 13th, 2009, at the reunion and symposium celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Institute in Mainz, Germany.

The association gives each year an award to only one person distinguished by specific service to the cause of science at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.  This year Dr. Wagener was unanimously elected as the Award winner for 2008/2009 in light of his many substantial services to the academic performance of the Institute.
