|  The Department of Chemistry welcome two new faculty members.
Dr. Nick Polfer, Assistant Professor. Who received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2004, joins the Analytical and Physical Chemistry divisions. In his research he makes use of mass spectrometry combined laser techniques to increase the structural information on biomolecules.
Dr. Stephen Miller, Associate Professor. Who received his PhD from the California Institute of Technology in 1999, joins the Organic Chemistry Division, the Butler Polymer Research Laboratory, and the Center for Macromolecular Science & Engineering. His research focuses on synthetic polymer chemistry and is guided by theoretical, industrial, and environmental considerations.
